Furniture layout is how seating, tables, beds and other pieces work together in a room. A good arrangement starts with what you do in the room, the furniture you already own and the routes you need to keep open.
This online furniture layout tool creates an arrangement concept from your room photo. Choose a goal, list the pieces to keep and describe doors, windows or a fireplace. Optional dimensions add context. Compare the preview before moving anything. For exact placement, use a measured editor.

Six arrangements for small living rooms, long rooms, bedrooms, studios, offices and open living areas. Select a title to load its settings, then try them on your own room photo.

Start with the practical question: where do people sit, walk, work or sleep? Try an arrangement that answers it.

In a compact apartment, start with the sofa and the path from the entry. Try a layout with more open floor space, then check door access and furniture sizes against your own measurements.

If the living room serves for films and guests, choose the main activity first. Name the TV, fireplace or window as the focal point, then compare how the seats face it without blocking the route through the room.

Studio renters can group sleeping, seating and work areas without adding walls. Choose Separate activity zones and describe the route between the entry, kitchen and bed. Check the proposed placement against the space you actually have.

Considering a new sofa? Try the pieces you already own first. List their sizes and ask to keep them. Compare another arrangement before you decide whether you need a replacement, extra seating or just a new position.

Pick a room type and a goal, such as clearer walking routes, conversation seating or separate activity zones. Name the furniture to keep and the TV, fireplace or view to face. Add the room dimensions and door locations if you know them. They guide the concept but do not verify scale.

Start with the entrances, the largest piece of furniture and the walking route you need to keep open. Upload a room photo, select Living room and Clearer walking routes, and list the pieces to keep. Check the concept against your real measurements before you move the sofa or buy extra seating.
Choose Rearrange existing furniture and list the pieces you want to keep, with their sizes. Add both room dimensions for context and describe doors or fixed features. The AI is instructed to keep visible furniture, but details can change. It does not check that every piece fits.
Decide whether TV viewing or conversation matters more, then select that goal and name the main focal point. Describe the other feature and the route through the room in your notes. Compare the seating direction with your photo, then check viewing comfort and clearances in the real space.

An AI layout concept is an image showing a possible arrangement on your room photo. It does not measure distances, detect collisions or verify door clearances. Optional dimensions add context only. For furniture placed to scale, use Floor Plan Designer with your actual measurements.
Choose Studio apartment and Separate activity zones to plan sleeping, seating and work areas in one room. List the furniture to keep, then describe the routes to the kitchen, bathroom and entry. Compare the groupings in the preview, then measure each zone before you act on the idea.
Use the download control after generating to save the arrangement as an image. Compare it with the original photo using the slider. The tool does not export a PDF with dimensions, an editable floor plan or a CAD file. Each new concept uses credits.
